In the international Migrants’ Day, we celebrate the variety of the people. In the 21st Century, more and more people leave their homeland to settle down in another country. 2% of world’s inhabitants – more than 150 Million people – live far away from their homeland. December 18 has been the INTERNATIONAL MIGRANTS DAY, since December 18, 1990, when the UN adopted the resolution about the rights of migrants. The event was first celebrated in 2000.
